Latchel is an early stage startup seeking a commission-only outside sales rep. By joining the team at such an early stage you’d have a strong influence on the sales and marketing strategy, product direction, and company culture. We have a product serving live customers and have had excellent traction with converting prospects to customers. We are looking for someone to build and expand upon this success.

Industry and Company

Latchel improves the operational efficiency of property management companies and increases their growth potential. Our primary service tracks maintenance requests for property management companies. We work with a company’s existing vendors if they have them and provide vendors when their vendors are unavailable or they don’t have them. We provide full tracking service so that property managers have more free time and less frustration. We use technology to improve the experience for renters and vendors and make our operations processes more efficient.

Property management software is a rapidly growing industry (projected $5B by 2020) with few incumbent players and low market penetration (estimated that only 20% of property managers use online software platforms). In the US, property management is a $60B industry and contractor services are worth hundreds of billions in the US alone. The property management industry is underserved by technology. At Latchel, we believe we understand the reasons for low market penetration and take a different approach than other companies in the field. Key Responsibilities

Conduct info sessions for warm leads–listen to their needs and pains and educate them on how Latchel’s service can help them meet their goals and make their operations easier.
Prospect new leads via email, phone, online, and in-person.
Collaborate with cofounders on methods to improve marketing messaging, conversion rates through sales pipeline, and lead generation methods.
Guide new clients through onboarding process and ensure they are satisfied with Latchel’s services
Qualifications

6+ months of high performance in a sales or similar environment

Excellent written and verbal communication

Compensation: commission + lifetime residuals
Equity + employee status is possible based on performance, if desired
Working from anywhere in the US okay
